Application note for Costco® suppliers with digital scales or weighing requirements

Costco® warehouse membership club is enforcing a new policy requiring that their suppliers provide products with a special barcode label with specific information. This label and barcode is designed to work with Costco's internal warehousing and inventory systems. Doran has designed custom scale software for this application utilizing the Doran 2200 Scale indicator/system (see below). The 2200's user data string sends the required data to a label printer containing the Costco label. With its multiple product IDs and multiple customizable data strings, several different product labels can be printed from the same scale.

Full Function Keypad
The Model 2200 puts you in complete control of the advanced functions with its intuitive keypad. The easy to use keypad allows for simple entry of digital tare, time and date, accumulator, eight product ID's, eight setpoint outputs and eight grade values.

Powerful Software Features
Much more than a simple weight indicator, the software in the 2200 is capable of functions such as programmable data communication, product grading, peak hold, multiple ID numbers, accumulator, and counter.
